Bindu Sharma, founding partner, Patent Attorney and CEO of Origiin IP Solutions LLP, Bangalore [INDIA]. She has a vast research experience working in reputed institutes such as National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and Jubilant Biosys (P) Ltd., Bangalore. She founded Origiin IP Solutions in the year 2006 and has been handling work such as various patent searches, Patent drafting, filing and prosecution at IPO and PCT, office actions including opposition and revocation petitions, drafting agreements relating transfer of technology, registration of copyright, trademark, conducting IP Audit, framing IP Policies and processes etc for knowledge based companies and academics. She is also legal consultant to several Government research institutes, guiding them on commercialisation of the technologies and assisting them to negotiate license agreements. She has been speaker in several conferences, symposiums and has conducted various awareness workshops on IPR for academics as well as corporate. She is also a guest faculty in many reputed colleges in India.
